A project dedicated to exploring identity and resilience of immigrant communities and their descendants, particularly those that are grasping with the complexities of the diaspora. Created while attending an artist residency in Bogota, Colombia with the group Virreina.
Piece is a sculptural wig that is inspired by the Poporo, a pre-columbian artifact that is located in Bogota’s “Museo de Oro”
